Me
Hello! I'm Kelly, a third-year electrical engineering student at UC Irvine. I am currently pursuing a triple specialization in DSP, Communications, and RF technology. With an EE degree, I hope to make a lasting impact in developing sustainable technologies for human connectivity. Right now, I'm working at Karma Automotive as a Systems Integration & Validation Intern on the Vehicle Integrations team. In my free time (and when there's no pandemic!) I enjoy indoor bouldering, watching Marvel movies, bullet journaling, and learning web design!

Solar Car 12V Model
A small-scale, 12V model of the vehicle's safety circuitry built in a collaborative effort between all UCI Solar Car electrical subteams. Ensured that our relay network and logic worked before implementing full-scale electrical system.

Co-founded Science Olympiad @ UCI, a student-run organization tasked with the logistical planning of the Orange County Science Olympiad Regional. With a high-school state-medal background in the Astronomy event, I was in charge of writing the Division C Astronomy exam.

PCB Design
Took an online introductory PCB design course using EasyEDA. Used EasyEDA and EAGLE softwares to create schematics and PCB layouts of a USB to TTL converter (to learn about communication protocols), a buck converter using the LT7101 IC (for Solar Car low-voltage conversion), and an AM transmission and amplification module using the LM386 IC.
